As a relatively new company, Studio-underground understands the importance of corporate branding. For instance, upon examination of the SU logo, what are the types of things you notice? Maybe you notice that it is Detroit’s cityscape. This is because we want people to know that our company is a Michigan-based company, because we are proud of that. You may notice how the paint drips extend downward
as if they are the actual roots of the city. This is because we want to honor life’s roots, history and wisdom. You may notice the simplicity of the design; how it can easily be transferred from one medium to another. This is so we can adapt the logo for things like banners or t-shirts.
Additionally, since SU has not been around for very long it is important that we emphasize the types of virtues we want people to associate with this logo. As we accentuate quality, integrity and honesty in business, we are cultivating our brand in the web development community. Eventually when people see the SU logo they will know that this site or product is quality-made, here in Michigan.
